Squarespace Makes Dreams Reality with Stylish Domains Campaign

Created in-house, ‘Dream It, Domain It’ launches with high fashion-inspired vignettes from PRETTYBIRD’s Bradley & Pablo, and a seriously catchy original track, reports LBB’s Ben Conway

With the new year on the horizon, Squarespace is launching a fresh campaign focused on the first step of starting a business: acquiring a domain.

Created by Squarespace’s in-house creative team, ‘Dream It, Domain It,’ invites anyone with a business idea to make it real by claiming a domain that reflects who they are and what they want to build.

The hero film, directed by PRETTYBIRD’sBradley & Pablo, takes the viewer through a series of playful, real-world scenarios, dripping in glam and reminiscent of haute couture photoshoots.

Despite having acquired Google Domains in 2023, Squarespace’s group creative director, Mathieu Zarbatany, told LBB that most people looking to buy a domain still don’t think of the website creator as an option. “Our task was simple: create a campaign that positions Squarespace as the best place to claim your corner of the internet.”

From .dance to .coach, .video and .rock, the spot highlights Squarespace’s over 400 top-level domains, showing how a domain, bought via Squarespace, can be not just practical but creative, too.

“Today, every idea begins online, and your domain is your identity,” said Mathieu. “Squarespace’s ‘Dream It, Domain It’ campaign celebrates that moment of magic when you find a name that perfectly captures the essence of your business… These new endings let people express their purpose directly in their name. The message is simple but powerful: your domain should be as unique as your business.”

This approach is reflected in the cinematic and stylish visuals of the hero film, which features a variety of entrepreneurs in vibrant, unique portraits – everything from dancers to stonemasons, topiarists and SFX artists.

The film is backed by a seriously catchy original track, helping it play out with the energy and rhythm of a music video.

The video will be rolling out across digital video, CTV (US-only), paid search, and social in the US, UK and Canada. This comes after Squarespace recently rounded out its trio of films from Love Song director Walid Labri for the website creator's  ‘Change Your World’ platform.
