Zulu Alpha Kilo has unveiled its latest campaign for Simple Mills this back-to-school season.
Directed by LJ Johnson in partnership with hungryman and starring 'Boy Meets World' heartthrob Rider Strong, the spots celebrate, with humour and plenty of nostalgic vibes, Simple Mills Snack Packs. They have the same great taste as all the after-school favourites you grew up on, but are made with wholesome ingredients families can feel good about.
A leader in purposeful, nutrient-dense snacking and baking, Simple Mills is launching its back to school campaign by going full ‘90s in all its flannel, skateboarding, flowy hair glory.
“Back to school season always brings up feelings of nostalgia, no matter how old you get,” said Chris Colliton, executive creative director at Z.A.K. “We wanted to have fun with the idea of nodding to our after-school memories from the ‘90s—Boy Meets World on the TV, snack packs in hand—with a tongue-in-cheek sense of humour about how we’ve all grown up, even the snacks. We can still throw it back to our childhoods, but this time with real ingredients we, as adults, appreciate.”
Featuring fan-favourite products like Cheddar Pop Mmms, Mini Crunchy Chocolate Chip Cookies, and Honey Cinnamon Sweet Thins, Simple Mills Snack Packs remind audiences that some of the best memories start with the simplest moments.
