It’s been a year since Dynamic Frame moved into its new headquarters in Zurich, a creative office space designed in collaboration with the Ukrainian award-winning architecture and interior design studio balbek bureau. The new office embodies the company’s spirit: collaborative, agile, and people-focused.

The new studio features editing suites, a small cinema, a spacious storage for all the film gear, a kitchen with a dining area, and an open-plan workspace designed for the entire team. Previously, Dynamic Frame operated from two separate offices in Zurich - one dedicated to fiction and documentary production, the other to commercials. The move unified the team under one roof and gave the company room to grow.

"We wanted a studio that supports creativity and collaboration," says Luzius Fischer, executive producer / partner. “balbek bureau helped us design an environment that inspires, where ideas can grow, collide, and take shape.”

The design concept draws inspiration from the company’s name, Dynamic Frame, reflecting the fluid and adaptable nature of film production. The office features a grid layout with cube-like rooms (of course in a 4:3 aspect on the floor plan), glass elements, versatile furniture, and carefully considered acoustics to support multiple functions, from brainstorming sessions to client presentations and post-production work.

“Every corner of the studio has a purpose,” says Luzius Fischer, executive producer and partner. “We wanted a space where our team and our partners feel at home, and where creativity can move freely. And of course, a space for editing and postproduction which we do a lot in-house.”

The collaboration between Dynamic Frame and balbek bureau resulted in a workspace that balances technical performance with an atmosphere of trust and teamwork. The expanded facilities allow the company to scale production, host clients, and continue delivering cinematic storytelling with precision and energy.

After a year in our new home, Dynamic Frame has truly made the space their own, and it shows in the work.
