The latest work from BBC Creative, directed by KODE’s Jon E Price, is a dive into the BBC archives which encourages audiences to listen more.
The new TV ad employs the concept of constellations - pulling disparate material of different ages, resolutions and contexts from BBC’s archive. But arranged to form a new perspective, not just narratively, but drawing connections thematically and visually.
Jon E Price comments, “The line 'the more you listen, the more you see,' written by BBC Creative, really gave us permission to move quickly and intuitively through a lot of visual ideas in a short space of time.” He continues “Because the film will live across the BBC network, we loved the thought of repeat viewings. The constellation idea naturally invites that, the more you watch, and the more your own connections start to form. It’s more associative, more like the way memory or imagination actually works.”
