Some characters don't need introducing. Ralph Lauren's Polo Bear is one of them.
It was a pleasure partnering with the Ralph Lauren creative team on their latest Wimbledon campaign. Working hand in hand, The Mill brought the iconic Polo Bear into live-action alongside Tom Hiddleston across five films and 35 shots.
The Ralph Lauren Polo Bear campaign was a collaboration between the Ralph Lauren in-house creative team and The Mill. Bringing together specialists across every stage of the process. From on-set supervision through animation, editing, compositing and colour, each team contributed to creating a cohesive final image. For a project built around an iconic character, the goal was not to showcase technology, but to create connection. The success of the Polo Bear comes from the moment audiences stop seeing a CG character and simply accept him as part of their own world. That illusion is built through thousands of invisible choices: a carefully timed expression, the way light settles across every frame, or the subtle movement of a hand reaching for strawberries. Behind every frame is a team of artists who bring together technical expertise, creativity, and passion, proving that the most convincing visual effects are always powered by human craft.
