Ed Greene's credits include shows and series shown across platforms including Netflix, Hulu, Showtime, Discovery, A&E and Lifetime

Editorial house PS260 has welcomed editor Ed Greene, ACE. With over 25 years of experience shaping narratives across TV, film, and advertising, when Ed cuts something, you don't just watch it, you feel it. That's the difference.

Ed has quietly been the secret weapon behind some of the most compelling series of the past decade. If you've been glued to the screen, chances are Ed was involved.

His credits include shows and series shown across networks and platforms, including Netflix, Hulu, Showtime, Discovery, A&E and Lifetime, among others. Some notable ones you’ve probably seen are Netflix’s 'aka Charlie Sheen', and Pepsi,' Where's My Jet?'; along with 'Project Runway'; 'The Curse of Von Dutch: A Brand to Die For'; 'Deadliest Catch'; 'Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath'; and 'Night Stalker: The Hunt for a Serial Killer'.

His films have also earned their stripes at Sundance and SXSW, confirming that his work is critically acclaimed, not just compulsively watchable.

Ed is based in Los Angeles, adding another true dose of West Coast creative energy to the team.

Getting to Know Ed

PS260 asked Ed a few non-résumé-related questions to get a feel for the human behind the Emmy nominations:

  • Editing Fuel: His preferred snack while cutting is the Takis knockoffs from Trader Joe's. (A man of refined, yet practical, taste.)
  • The Grind Cure: When the edit suite gets intense, he resets by seeking out a beloved film from the '70s, currently the classic Puzzle of a Downfall Child directed by Jerry Schatzberg.
  • Why Editing? Ed says simply, “Every day is a new puzzle to solve.”
  • The Backup Plan: If he wasn't an editor, Ed would be a Freudian analyst, which tracks. The man knows how to get to the core of a story.
  • Creative Reset: He hits the creative reset button with an acoustic guitar and/or a horror movie.

Maury Loeb, partner and editor at PS260, offered up the backstory, confirming Ed's natural talent is an old problem, “I've known Ed since NYU film school where we were roommates and creative collaborators. To be honest, Ed was the reason I never edited anything in college. He was just such a natural, gifted editor that I basically handed everything over to him. Ed has always been such an inventive editor with an impeccable sense of taste and tone. Everything he's ever worked on has such an indelible signature that could only be his. Plus, he's one of the funniest people I know, which is an essential part of the PS260 culture.”

Ed said, “I’m thrilled to be joining this exceptional creative team here at PS260, who values craft, fun and boundary-pushing work in equal measure,” Ed said. “It’s an honour to be welcomed into the coolest club of cool kids I can imagine.”

To date, Ed has been a nominee for two Primetime Emmys, as well as two News & Documentary Emmys, in addition to being a nominee for the ACE Eddie Award, among other honours.
