Forsman & Bodenfors Sweden has appointed Tove Langseth as head of creative in Sweden, as the agency sharpens its focus on helping brands unlock growth through the power of strategic creativity - the principles that have defined its success for 40 years.
Tove’s arrival marks a key moment in Forsman’s evolution - part of a broader ambition to deepen its role as a creative business partner to both global and national clients. The agency, which has long combined creative excellence with strategic insight, is now investing further in its ability to help brands navigate complexity and accelerate growth.
Tove joins from Klarna, where she served as Global Creative Lead and helped drive the fintech brand’s transformation ahead of its IPO. With experience across agencies and in-house teams, she brings a unique combination of strategic discipline, creative agility, and entrepreneurial mindset. Her track record includes shaping Klarna’s iconic 'Smoooth' platform at DDB, founding the fashion start-up Closely, and leading brand work for Diesel and Škoda.
“Tove’s appointment isn’t just about creative leadership; it’s about what creative leadership means today,” said James Jenkins, European CEO at Forsman & Bodenfors. “As we evolve to become an even more strategic partner to our clients, we need talent that understands how to connect brand, business and creativity in a way that drives real commercial impact.”
This next chapter for Forsman builds on a legacy of work with brands like Volvo, Oatly and Therabody - combining creativity and consultancy in ways that make brands more valuable to both people and business. With Tove at the helm of creative in Sweden, the agency will continue to evolve its offer around the belief that brand is not just a marketing asset, but a growth engine.
“Clients consistently tell us how hard it is to bring together strategic rigour and creative ambition,” added James. “That’s the gap Forsman has always filled. But today we’re doubling down - to help brands not only survive change, but thrive through it.”
In line with this shift, the agency has also promoted John Bergdahl, previously head of creative and strategy, to chief creative officer. A long-time Forsman & Bodenfors leader, Bergdahl will guide the agency’s international creative direction, continuing to champion its blend of rigor and originality.
