The Loeries has wrapped up for its 47th year and the winners have been crowned.
A productive Loeries Creative Week packed full of networking, insights and inspiration culminated in the gathering of agencies and clients for two awards ceremonies held at Cape Town City Hall on Thursday 9th and Friday 10th October.
The nights spotlighted the very best creativity and innovation in the Middle East and African brand communications sector. Out of over 2784 entries from 13 countries across the region, a total 264 Loeries were awarded.
Multiple noteworthy awards were given out to remarkable individuals and organisations this year. Among the highlights were Publicis Groupe being named Regional Agency of the Year, Joe Public walking away with the Agency of the Year Award, and Chicken Licken winning Brand of the Year. Dr. Biodun Shobanjo, a transformative figure in marketing communications, was also inducted into the Loeries Hall of Fame.
