Epoch Films' Alma Har'el directs the campaign exploring the small rituals, quiet companionship and unconditional love that define life with dogs

Dog food brand The Farmer's Dog has teamed up with Epoch director Alma Har'el to celebrate the bond at the heart of the brand's name: the one between a farmer and his dog. Using her signature style, Alma captures the quiet rituals and small, often-overlooked moments that reveal how dogs make us present. The campaign includes three spots.

For Everybody's Dog is set to 'What the World Needs Now,' and features clips of singular human-dog bonds play out on screen, united by one thing: the deep, unconditional love we have for our dogs.

The Captain's Dog follows a hardy captain working on his houseboat while his dog trails behind, angling for a moment of play.

The Girl's Dog follows two rambunctious little girls who throw a tea party for their giant Mastiff.

The spots will run on TV across the US, as well as social media and YouTube. The Farmer’s Dog created an OOH campaign across four mid-west cities (Chicago, Detroit, Minneapolis, and St. Louis) with the Chicago takeover featuring real customers from those neighbourhoods.

Director, Alma Har’el said, "My dog Zusa ate The Farmer's Dog for most of her life, so I came into this with a sense of gratitude and familiarity. I tried to capture the beautiful simplicity of how dogs receive love; the way they meet you there. I was immediately drawn to the brand's insight that dogs make us want to be better, and being aligned on that idea made the collaboration feel very easy. We allowed the product to exist naturally within the world of the film, but kept the focus on the bond and what it means to care for someone, even when you're not at your best. We're living through a moment that can feel heavy and cruel. The presence of dogs and their openness to love felt like a quiet but meaningful counterpoint to that.”

Sophie Forman, VP, creative at The Farmer’s Dog said, “The bond between a person and their dog is one of the most honest and unconditional relationships we’ll ever experience. This campaign is a celebration of that connection. Rather than big, dramatic gestures, we explore the quiet rituals and small, daily moments that reveal how dogs make us present. These capture the heart of why we do what we do.”
