Saatchi & Saatchi Health London has appointed Pedro Rosa as executive creative director and May Leen Wong as head of strategy, bringing together two internationally recognised leaders to drive the agency's next chapter of ambitious growth, creative excellence and strategic innovation.
The appointments signal a major investment in the agency's ability to deliver bold, intelligent ideas that help healthcare brands break through complexity, connect with culture and create meaningful impact. Together, Pedro and Wong will shape a proposition built on the agency's founding belief that Nothing is Impossible.
Pedro joins from a career spanning some of the world’s most celebrated creative agencies, including VML UK and Brazil, Grey London, Mother and AlmapBBDO. His work has been recognised by Cannes Lions, D&AD, The One Show and Effies, earning a reputation for creating ideas that sit at the intersection of culture, creativity and behavioural change. At Saatchi & Saatchi Health London, he will lead creative vision and culture across the agency, championing work that is both commercially effective and impossible to ignore.
Joining him is May Leen Wong, an award-winning strategist with more than two decades of global experience spanning consumer, healthcare and wellness brands. Most recently EVP, executive strategy director at Havas Health, Wong has led global strategy for some of healthcare's most influential brands while helping agencies build high-performing strategy functions, drive growth and deliver award-winning work. Throughout her career she has combined commercial rigour with a deep understanding of human behaviour, helping brands navigate complexity and unlock new opportunities for growth.
Working in partnership, Pedro and Wong will help redefine what creativity in health can achieve - blending cultural instinct, strategic clarity and scientific credibility to create ideas that travel further, move faster and deliver greater impact for clients and patients alike. Their appointment reflects Saatchi & Saatchi Health London's belief that the future of healthcare communications belongs to agencies that can unite intelligence and imagination rather than choose between them.
Commenting on his appointment, Pedro Rosa said, "Health feels like the perfect place to do the best work in the creative industry, especially because purpose is already built into pretty much every brief. Combine that with the legacy of a brand like Saatchi & Saatchi and the people I’ve met across Publicis Health throughout the process, and it becomes the kind of opportunity that is very hard not to jump into. I’m looking forward to creating ideas that people can’t ignore and want to share, with the highest levels of cultural ambition, craft and creative firepower. It’s a privilege to join Saatchi & Saatchi Health and partner with Katie, May and the wider team, with that ambition guiding the work we make.”
May Leen Wong added, "The most effective healthcare communications start with a deep understanding of people. What motivates them, what they care about and what stands in their way. Saatchi & Saatchi Health has a powerful belief system in 'Nothing is Impossible', and that mindset creates the perfect environment for bold strategy and bold creativity to thrive together – something I have experienced first-hand during my previous tenure at Saatchi & Saatchi. Together with Pedro, I'm excited to help shape an agency where insight becomes action, complexity becomes clarity and intelligent ideas create meaningful impact."
Katie McMorran, group managing director, Saatchi & Saatchi Health London, said, "Pedro and May are exactly the kind of leaders we need for what comes next. Both bring international experience, outstanding track records and a relentless belief in the power of creativity and strategy to solve complex challenges. Individually they're exceptional. Together they're a formidable partnership.
Healthcare needs fresh thinking more than ever. Our clients are navigating increased complexity, rising expectations and significant opportunities for innovation. Pedro and May bring complementary strengths that will help our clients unlock bold new possibilities while helping our teams do the best work of their careers.
This isn't about incremental change. It's about raising our ambitions, pushing boundaries and proving that the world's toughest health challenges deserve the same level of creative and strategic excellence as any category. That's what 'Nothing is Impossible' means in practice."
Pedro and Wong will both join the senior leadership team and report directly into Katie. They will be responsible for partnering closely with clients and teams to ensure every idea is grounded in insight, purpose and commercial impact. Together they will help strengthen the agency's creative reputation, accelerate growth and further establish Saatchi & Saatchi Health London as a destination for exceptional talent and ambitious clients.
