Real Canadian Superstore has launched a national campaign titled, 'The Invitation.' The campaign is built on a powerful message of inclusivity and togetherness that’s brought to life through an iconic character designed to represent all Canadians.
The campaign’s story is a heart warming tale of connection, centred around a lonely moose who acts as a touching symbol of the universal desire for togetherness over the holidays. The story culminates when Real Canadian Superstore colleagues welcome the moose inside, demonstrating how the store serves as a welcoming community hub where all people, cultures, and celebrations can come together and feel welcome.
"This holiday season, we wanted to tell a story that reflects the diversity of Canada and the spirit of inclusion that we value," said Dorothy Lee, senior director of brand marketing at Real Canadian Superstore. "‘The Invitation’ is a reminder that the true magic of the holidays comes from creating moments of connection and sharing them with one another.”
"This character allows us to tell a powerful story about inclusivity and show that the real magic of the holidays is made together”, said Kyle Waye, creative director at ONE23WEST. "This was a truly collaborative effort to bring an iconic Canadian symbol to life," continued account director, Colin Penstone. "We're excited to see 'The Invitation' live across TV, digital, and cinema, reminding everyone that we all have a seat at the table this holiday season."
The "Invitation" was created by ONE23WEST, Partners Film and Loblaw Agency with media by Loblaw Media. The campaign launches on November 6 on TV, digital, cinema, and social.
