ProdCo has signed the newly-formed directing trio PSG, made up of Pau López, Yukihiro ‘Sho’ Shoda and Gerardo del Hierro for global representation (excluding Spain, France and Germany).
Sho has been part of ProdCo’s roster since the company launched three years ago. He established his career in Japan as one of the country’s most sought-after commercial directors before moving to Los Angeles. His film, ‘What Happened?’ for Hecate won the Production Grand Prix at CICLOPE Festival, and was recognised by Cannes Lions in the wider awards circuit.
Pau and Gerado were formerly known as the directing duo, TURBO. Their background spans directing, design, animation and post-production, with their work recognised by the Creative Circle, One Club, Eurobest and Cannes Lions.
Collectively, the trio have worked with major brands including Google, Instagram, Lexus, Tiffany & Co., Nike, Adidas, Amazon, Facebook, Netflix and Mercedes, alongside big name talents like Josh O’ Connor, Katy Perry, Johnny Depp, Rosalía, Hunter Schafer and Anitta. Their combined fluency across live action, VFX, animation and 3D is backed by an in-house post production studio, enabling them to move freely between disciplines depending on what the idea requires.
For ProdCo, PSG represents the unification of three established filmmakers with a shared obsession for craft. Audiences won’t have to wait long to see what PSG and ProdCo can make together, as a major campaign for Desigual is set to be released on September 3rd. Meanwhile the trio is gearing up to shoot a mammoth job for Supercell in Japan in October, proving that the group is already making a mark.
