The partnership aims to support growth for professionals and businesses in the advertising, marketing and creative industries

Little Black Book is proud to announce a new ongoing partnership with Creative Connections that will see both companies embark on a special new series of social content and in-person events aimed at supporting and educating people in the industry on professional career progression, talent-sourcing and networking.

Creative Connections was founded by Helen Kimber and Samantha Peace with the aim of creating a new model for creative industry recruitment. Both Helen and Samantha bring a wealth of experience spanning agency, client-side and recruitment, having worked with some of the industry’s most exciting businesses including Mother, Uncommon, adam&eveDDB, NCA, Saatchi & Saatchi, Lucky Generals, VCCP and Leo Burnett. Their unique career paths - from starting out together at RKCR/Y&R through to senior roles at The Talent Business and The Longhouse - inspired them to launch Creative Connections as an antidote to the traditional, one-size-fits-all recruitment model. You can read more here.

Together, Little Black Book wants to bring their experience and expertise to its community and will do so via bi-monthly panel and networking events as well as a resourceful new social video series. Sessions will be aimed at both individuals and business owners, operations directors and HR departments.

Helen Kimber, founder of Creative Connections, says, “LBB is such a natural partner for us; they love the world of advertising and creativity as much as we do. Working together allows us to celebrate and support both the industry as a whole and the immense talent in it. We want to create a space that not only supports companies in finding the best people but also empowers individuals to shape the careers they want.”

CEO & founder of LBB, Matt Cooper says: “Finding the best talent in this industry has changed so much. It’s hard right now. The business of advertising is changing and brands are commissioning lots of work on a project by project basis more and more. This is obviously driving a massive knock-on effect in not only how businesses source and pay for the best talent but for the career progression of the talented people they’re hiring.

LBB has always been a place aimed at connecting, showcasing and informing our industry on the best creative work, news and information that helps individuals and businesses to grow. It’s something we care deeply about and Helen and Sam are two brilliant experienced people who I know can help our community to learn more about what’s happening in the market and how to navigate it.”

The in-person events will be first rolled out in London and the resources and social videos will be made available globally.
