Jordan’s Furniture Pays Homage to Fenway Park with Red Seat Sectional

Limited-edition sectional from TBWA\Chiat\Day Boston is inspired by the exact location of the longest home run in Red Sox history

Furniture brand Jordan’s has transformed one of baseball’s most legendary in-the-know artifacts - the Red Seat at Fenway Park - into a cultural and commercial idea: Sectional42.

As the official furniture of the Red Sox, Jordan’s has built a one-of-a-kind sectional inspired by the exact location of the longest home run in Red Sox history (502 ft in 1946!)

The campaign from TBWA\Chiat\Day Boston bridges sports lore, fandom, and retail, turning a hidden symbol into something fans can actually own.

The idea: what if we honoured the most iconic seat in baseball history in a way only real fans would recognise. And made it tangible. Sectional42 turns a piece of folklore into a physical product, blurring the line between stadium myth and living room reality.

The Insight: the most meaningful fan signals aren’t the loudest. They’re the ones only insiders understand. True Red Sox fans don’t need context. They already know what the Red Seat means. So, the campaign taps into earned fandom vs. performative fandom, rewarding those who are truly 'in on it.'

The campaign created in partnership with creative agency TBWA\Chiat\Day Boston features an IRL event activation and Sweepstakes for fans in the New England area that will run April 21–May 3rd via Instagram.

All they need to do is follow the Jordan’s Instagram page, like the pinned post on their grid, and tag a friend.

For every entry, $1 will be donated to the Jimmy Fund (Dana-Farber Cancer Institute)

Sectional42 will also be live and in person at Fenway Park from April 21st to April 23rd during the three games, Boston/New York homestand. It will also be featured at all Jordan’s locations in Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island and New Hampshire.

This approach reinforces Jordan’s role as more than a retailer – but a brand embedded in local culture and rituals. And proves Jordan’s understands its audience at a deeper level.
