YPF Honours Lionel Messi with AI Love Letter from Argentina

'Thank You, Messi' is the latest campaign created by Isla Buenos Aires for Argentinian energy company YPF, paying tribute to Lionel Messi and everything his career has meant to millions of Argentinians. Produced entirely using artificial intelligence, the film celebrates the player who forever changed the history of football and fulfilled the dream of an entire nation.

With a simple yet powerful message, the film avoids grandiose descriptions and instead chooses a single word: thank you. 'Thank you, Messi, for making Leo's dream - and the dream of every Argentine - come true,' the film concludes, capturing the gratitude of a generation that witnessed the captain of Argentina lift the World Cup and cement his place as one of the greatest players of all time.

"When it comes to honoring and recognizing the greatest player of all time, any adjective falls short. Because nothing can do justice to his career. Messi truly changed the lives of all Argentinians. That's why, on this sixth World Cup, it was the perfect moment to set adjectives aside and simply say 'thank you' for fulfilling the dream of millions of Argentinians, including his own," said Rodrigo Greco and Mariano Gamba, CCOs at Isla.
