Global creative agency, IMA, has launched IMA Benelux, a new office created to accelerate growth across the Benelux market and expand the agency’s local offering.
The new Amsterdam hub will bring two Smollan Group agencies, Dutch Moving Media and Hamilton Bright Events, together under the banner of IMA Benelux.
The move will bring IMA’s experiential capability in the Netherlands and Belgium together under a dedicated Benelux proposition, supported by IMA Europe and fully integrated with IMA’s wider marketing services and strategic proposition, 'Creating Connections People Buy’.
Part of The Smollan Group, IMA Benelux has been established to extend the local offer beyond events and activation, connecting clients into IMA’s broader ecosystem across Europe. Already working with giant tech brands Samsung and Phillips, the team will be able to offer a larger scope of work than ever before.
IMA Benelux will be jointly led by Bart Manders as managing director, and Nienke van ’t Schip as business unit director. Together, they will set the strategic direction for the division, drive commercial growth and oversee the expansion of IMAs Benelux’s proposition across the region.
The IMA Benelux team reports directly to James Henry, CEO of IMA, to ensure close alignment with the wider European network and give Benelux clients access to IMA’s full suite of marketing services.
Bart Manders and Nienke van ’t Schip, co-leads of IMA Benelux, said: “As co-leads of IMA Benelux, we are bringing together our combined strengths in activation, experiential events and commercial leadership to accelerate growth across the region.”
James Henry, CEO added, “The launch of IMA Benelux is an important step in strengthening our European footprint. By uniting existing expertise under a dedicated Benelux proposition, we can better support brands looking for both local excellence and integrated multi-market delivery.”
