Golden Drum 2025 Winners Announced at 31st Festival of Creativity

Winners from 40 countries were honoured at the 2025 Awards Show in Portorož, Slovenia, highlighting bold ideas, visionary storytelling, and innovation across the industry

The Golden Drum festival pinnacle was the Awards Show, held in partnership with Mastercard, on 14 October 2025, in Portorož, Slovenia. This year's event marked the 31st anniversary of the festival, a significant milestone that underscored more than three decades of creative excellence and innovation.

Golden Drum 2025 celebrated the most outstanding creative work from 40 countries across Europe. Commenting on this year’s winners, Mojca Briščik, Golden Drum president, said, “Golden Drum brought together some of the most imaginative and visionary minds in a whirlwind of ideas, debates, and inspiration. From these discussions, the most exceptional work — marked by originality, bold thinking, and masterful execution — rose to the top, setting new standards for creative excellence. To all our Winners and Finalists — your talent, dedication, and passion for creativity have truly earned this recognition.”

Winners

The 2025 Golden Drum juries recognised exceptional creative work, bestowing a total of 55 Bronze Drums, 40 Silver Drums, 27 Golden Drums, and 15 Grand Prix awards, out of the 229 shortlisted entries.

The prestigious Network of the Year went to McCann Worldgroup.

Agency of the Year was granted to LePub, Milan.

The Independent Agency of the Year title supported by NLB was awarded to Ain't.

Publicis Media secured the title of Media Agency of the Year.

The recognition for Production Agency of the Year went to Organic Film.

Heineken received the coveted Brand Grand Prix powered by Poli, for their outstanding creative achievement.

In the All Juries section, Best of Genius Loci and also Best of Social Good was presented to McCann Athens, for 'The Wedding Rice', created for their client Wikifarmer.

The Game Changer award, powered by Telemach Slovenija, went to LePub, Milan, for their innovative project, Fixables, created for Philips.

The most successful agency from the Adriatic Region, receiving the special Adriatic Agency of the Year award, powered by Zavarovalnica Triglav, became Via Media, Sarajevo.

The prestigious Creative Director of the Year accolade was awarded to Panos Pagonis, the creative director from McCann Athens behind the campaign 'The Wedding Rice'.

Adding to the evening’s celebration, Marcin Sosiński, chief creative officer of Dentsu Creative Poland & CEE was welcomed as the newest member of the Golden Drum Hall of Fame, where he joins the distinguished group of creative visionaries who have not only served as inspiration but have profoundly influenced the world of creativity as we know it.

Young Drummers Competition winners

In the Young Drummers Competition, held in collaboration with the Mastercard Slovenia, Vojtěch Vaník and Joanna Santarius from Saatchi & Saatchi Prague emerged victorious, with their winning poster series 'Being Accepted Since 1980'.
