Fire Destroys Stylist Jonni Fitzgerald’s Studio and Fashion Archive Overnight

London stylist Jonni Fitzgerald has lost his entire studio and fashion archive following the devastating fire at Oxgate House, Staples Corner, on the evening of Thursday 11 June.
The blaze destroyed the building that housed around 250 small businesses. While miraculously no one was injured, Jonni lost everything stored in his studio. This included a carefully assembled archive of clothing, accessories and fashion pieces built over 30 plus years working as a stylist and costume designer. Widely respected for this work across the creative industries, Jonni has spent decades creating costumes and styling campaigns, editorials and productions for leading brands, agencies, photographers and performers, with his studio serving as both a working wardrobe and a repository of his life's work.

Jonni is now appealing to friends, colleagues and the wider creative community for help rebuilding his collection from scratch.

“Basically my fashion archive, my life in clothes, my sartorial history has been burnt to the ground,” said Jonni. “I am bereft.”

He is asking for donations of unwanted clothing, shoes, trainers, suits, jeans and accessories of any kind.

“Even if you think I won't be able to use it, I promise you I will. Anything will help me start again.”
