Creative studio Electric Theatre Collective have welcomed producer Ella Whiting to their Brick Lane HQ. Jumping straight into the action, Ella will be working alongside Electric’s formidable pool of talent to deliver impeccable craft for leading brands, agencies, and filmmakers.
She brings a rich and varied experience garnered across roles at Saddington Baynes, 1920, and most recently Daydreamer, and her collaborations with leading directors have become career highlights. She called LA ‘home’ for a month whilst leading a TurboTax Superbowl ad with Traktor, produced numerous fashion films with Rubberband and was shortlisted at this year’s Young Arrows for her work on a Coach campaign with the legendary C Prinz. Phew!
In her new gig, Ella looks forward to broadening her CG horizons: “I’m always keen to build on my knowledge and Electric will afford me that opportunity in buckets. The novelty of seeing my work out in the world will never wear off, and being part of such a welcoming team means work doesn’t always feel like work. I’m very happy to be part of Electric.”
Deputy head of production Oscar Wendt adds, “I’ve been watching Ella’s career from afar for a while. Her attention to detail speaks for itself and she’s got a true Electric energy. We’re really lucky to have her.”
In her own words:
Ella> The team is impressive – as is the work. What a place to learn and bounce off people. The office views are certainly a bonus!
Ella> Has to be the Royal Oak? That, or The Narrowboat, though it’s slightly more Angel than East…
Ella> The first time I saw my work aired during the football! It was the first big job I produced and I loved to see the little Interactive Investor robots around!
Ella> The minute I wake up.
Ella> I’d love to move to Canada and open up a café. Coffee, mountains and fulfilling my dream of seeing a moose.
Ella> Teenage Dirtbag by Wheatus, of course.
