It also made it onto the MEA shortlist at LBB’s global Immortal Awards, and the Brand Experience & Activation shortlist at Cannes Lions.

The Pitcher Awards was also one of Dentsu Creative Kenya’s most successful nights, raking in 28 wins from entries such as Tusker Lager ‘Stitched with Cheer’, NCBA ‘Hewa Safi Project’, Food for Education ‘Tap to Eat’, Malaria No More ‘Change the Story’, KCB ‘She-fting Gears’, and KCB ‘Impacting People for Better’. Looking back on the year, Dawn Rowlands, CEO of dentsu Africa, commented, "2025 has shown the world what Africa is capable of when we harness our creativity, innovation, and technology to solve African challenges. The awards we’ve won – from dentsu Kenya making history with a Loeries Grand Prix to Carat being named Media Advertising Agency of the Year at the Financial Mail AdFocus Awards, and our African Impact Award – are external validation of the incredible work happening here. But beyond the trophies, our true success lies in creating meaningful impact for our clients and communities. Thank you to our teams and partners for believing in this vision. Together, we are shaping the future of Africa’s marketing and media industry."

Dawn continued, “At dentsu Africa, we are proud to lead the way, not only with the best talent on the continent but also with cutting-edge data and AI capabilities through Merkury, Africa’s #1 data platform. While others are still testing, we’ve launched and scaled across Africa, delivering real, people-based growth for our clients. Our partnerships with global tech leaders like Meta and Google amplify this impact, ensuring we stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.”
