Wise Music Group has signed Clara Mann to its publishing roster under the Campbell Connelly catalogue. The deal includes her back catalogue and all new songs.
Clara Mann is a Franco-British singer-songwriter whose work blends poetic storytelling with influences from artists such as Jacques Brel and Edith Piaf, drawing on her roots in rural France and a life spent between worlds.
"I’m so happy to be joining the Wise family,” said Clara Mann. “It’s an absolute dream to be with a company who care so much about music, and who recognise and nurture the people who make it. To be on a roster alongside such thoughtful, brilliant writers is a real joy.”
“I am delighted to announce the signing of an exclusive publishing agreement with Clara Mann,“ said Dirk Lange, MD of UK rights at Wise Music Group. “Clara has deeply impressed all of us with her beautifully crafted songwriting and her remarkable, sensitive and unique performance style. Her voice carries a rare emotional immediacy and is echoing the lineage of artists such as Joni Mitchell, Joan Baez, and Judy Collins, while remaining unmistakably contemporary and entirely her own. We are thrilled to welcome her into the Wise Music family and look forward to supporting her artistic journey in the years to come.“
Clara's recent debut album, 'Rift', is an evocative exploration of life’s in-between spaces, where light meets shadow, growth meets regret, and loss meets hope. Clara finds belonging in motion, embracing placelessness as her true home. Her lyrics, shaped by influences including Tom Waits, paint vivid portraits of resilience and self-discovery. Rift is a journey through the fractures of life, acknowledging pain as essential to growth.
She has also just released a film and EP, Live In The Royal Albert Hall – “shot in, and from, the boxes of the main hall, the film explores what it means to be watched, and how it feels to look back,” explained Clara.
