Khushboo Bhatt Steps Into VP Role to Drive Creative Growth at Blink Digital

Vice president of creative growth, Khushboo Bhatt on her new role, when to say 'no' and what's kept her loyal to the agency for almost 10 years

Blink Digital has promoted Khushboo to vice president – creative growth, recognising her role in shaping the agency’s business strategy, client partnerships, and sustained revenue growth over nearly a decade with the company.

“The role is as much about discernment as growth,” Khushboo says, “selecting the right leads, building long-term partnerships, and consistently adding new clients without compromising creative integrity. At its core, my work is about proving that strong ideas don’t just win awards – they build sustainable businesses.”

Co-founder, Dooj Ramchandani, says, “As a creative, my ideal situation is to get work without pitching and also to charge the moon and stars for everything we create. Unfortunately, that’s not how things work – clients have their own unique challenges and navigating those with empathy is critical. Having worked in strategy, client servicing and more recently, in business development, Khushboo is able to strike that balance between when to say ‘yes’ to clients and when to draw the line and say ‘no’.”

Prior to Blink, Khushboo built her foundation at a boutique agency before going on to complete an MBA. At the time, she says, “digital marketing was clearly becoming the next big thing, changing how brands spoke to people,” and this piqued her interest.

When she came across Blink Digital’s ‘Watt a Box’ campaign for KFC, Khushboo was drawn to the simple yet bold and unexpected idea. “I remember thinking, I want to be part of the team that makes work like this happen, not just admire it as an outsider,” she says. “That, combined with everything I heard about Blink’s culture; the freedom, and the focus on good work, made the decision feel instinctive. It felt like the right place to grow, experiment, and actually enjoy the chaos that comes with this industry.”

She has been with the company ever since. When she first joined Blink, Khushboo didn’t imagine she’d still be here a decade later, “especially in an industry where long tenures are rare,” she says. “What’s kept me here is constant evolution. Over the years, I’ve worn multiple hats, worked across teams, and navigated more than my share of high-pressure moments. And as someone who gets bored easily, I still find the work deeply engaging.”

Her commitment to her work saw her named as Indian online marketing publication, Social Samosa’s Superwoman in 2023 – a recognition celebrating women creating meaningful impact in advertising and marketing. “Being acknowledged on that platform was genuinely special and a great opportunity to exchange ideas with other sharp, like-minded women who are all solving similar problems in different rooms,” Khushboo says.

“My personal mantra has always been to under-promise and over-deliver, it has helped me earn trust and grow businesses. Equally important is knowing when to say ‘no’. That clarity and discernment have become my real superpower, and have saved everyone a few unnecessary meetings.”

For the next year, her vision for the company is intentional, sustained growth – “in the brands we partner with, the opportunities we pursue, the strength of our teams, and the quality of work we deliver. As Dooj often says, ‘revenue growth enables people growth’. For us, that means scaling responsibly while building stronger, future-ready teams. Growth isn’t just a number; it’s long-term value creation.

“Over the past year, this approach has helped us unlock new revenue streams, create and monetise intellectual properties, introduce pitch fees, and win business without pitching – a clear signal of trust and credibility.
