Independent clothing company Bather, together with Felon Studios director Luke Nairn, has presented 'Do You Love Me Like I Love You?', a new FW25 campaign film shot in Baja, Mexico. More emotional short than traditional advertisement, the film leans into mood, texture, and feeling.
Set against the natural warmth and coastal stillness of Baja, the film follows two people caught in the in-between: close, but not quite aligned; connected, but not fully secure. The story unfolds through quiet, fragmented moments that feel more like memories than scenes—letting body language, negative space, and texture do the work.
“From the outset, we wanted to make a piece that strayed away from that cool/detached fashion film feeling. We wanted to build a world that felt honest to how love lives in people’s lives: it can be messy, unresolved & sometimes unsaid,” said director Luke Nairn. “I’ve been wanting to shoot in Baja Sur for a while now and had some dear local friends help us find landscapes that were really going to help hold these emotions we needed in order to tell the story.”
Produced by Felon, the film reflects a shared approach: letting story, tone, and performance lead, with the brand sitting confidently inside the narrative rather than on top of it. The FW25 collection weaves through the film in a way that feels natural and unforced; pieces you’d actually see in these spaces, on these people, in this moment. Baja gives a backdrop with real texture and soul, and Luke Nairn has created a film that feels intimate and human—something you experience, not just watch.
'Do You Love Me Like I Love You?' will anchor Bather’s FW25 rollout across digital, social, and select editorial partners, marking a continued move toward story-first, filmmaker-led collaborations.
Luke Nairn is represented in Canada by Felon Studios and for the UK by BlankCo.
