Following a stellar financial and creative performance in 2025, including #2 spot in the recent Strategy Agency of the Year Awards, Leo Toronto has restructured its executive leadership team (ELT) as the industry enters a period of prolific change. The model is intended to 'meet the moment' as technology and Artificial Intelligence reshapes how Leo operate and service their client partners.
The agency is introducing a new strategic growth and operations mandate designed to drive innovation, delivery excellence, and AI-powered tools and capabilities to enable their goal to be #1 in 2026. All delivered through robust change-management.
Joining the ELT, Anchie Contractor comes in as managing director, strategic growth, operations, adding to her Leo Design responsibilities, and has been assigned to lead the next stage of the agency’s transformation. Under Anchie’s leadership, Leo will elevate its operational engine as well as launch new product and service offerings focused on advancing AI-driven creativity, efficiency and performance.
“We are thrilled to be welcoming Anchie back to Leo in this critical role,” says Ben Tarr, president Leo Group Canada. “I have no doubt that with her talent and previous record here at Leo and within the industry, she will be instrumental in evolving Leo’s offering as our industry transforms”.
“And given the changing composition of talent and new approaches to our revenue models, this transformation will require those who lead our talent teams and financials to be at the centre of the organization”.
This means the Executive Leadership Team will expand to seven, with the addition of Stephanie McRae, SVP, head of HR, as well as Patsy Boodhoo, EVP, head of finance.
These new appointments strengthen what is already a well-established executive leadership team, which includes Natasha Dagenais, managing director, who now takes on a larger partnership mandate; Tahir Ahmad, chief strategy officer, and Angus Tucker, Chief Creative Officer.
