The partnership is built around delivering tangible, day-to-day value for Alliance members

As independent agencies continue to navigate growth, scale, and increasing commercial complexity, access to trusted, specialist advice has never been more important. That’s why the Alliance of Independent Agencies has welcomed Moore Kingston Smith as a new partner.

Moore Kingston Smith is a leading UK accountancy, tax and advisory firm with a dedicated media and marketing services team, supporting independent agencies at every stage of their development. Through its tailored agency growth programme, the firm helps agency leaders translate priorities such as revenue growth, cash flows, margin improvement and talent retention into clear, measurable actions – whether the focus is on building long-term value or preparing for a future exit. Working closely with owner-managed agencies, Moore Kingston Smith provides strategic and financial advice grounded in first-hand experience of the realities of building, running and scaling agencies.

“Independent agencies need advisers who truly understand their world,” said Terry Martin, managing director of the Alliance of Independent Agencies. “Moore Kingston Smith brings practical insight, commercial rigour and a genuine understanding of what it takes to build and scale a successful agency. This partnership will help our members make confident, informed decisions as they grow.”

The partnership is built around delivering tangible, day-to-day value for Alliance members. Together, Moore Kingston Smith and the Alliance will collaborate on a series of initiatives designed to support stronger decision-making and long-term resilience across the community. These include the launch of an Agency Finance Helpline, offering members free 30-minute advisory sessions on topics such as cashflow, tax and profitability, as well as continued collaboration on the Agency Performance Pulse, the Alliance’s annual benchmarking study providing insight into agency performance, salaries and growth outlook.

Moore Kingston Smith will also play an active role across the Alliance’s event programme and Commercial Action Group, delivering webinars, roundtables and workshops focused on the financial and commercial challenges agencies are facing today. Alongside this, Moore Kingston Smith will support the Alliance directly with financial accounts preparation, management reporting and strategic financial planning, strengthening the organisation as it continues to grow.

As the Alliance’s exclusive finance partner, Moore Kingston Smith will be embedded across member onboarding, communications and the Alliance website, reinforcing a shared commitment to supporting independent agencies for the long term.

Esther Carder, partner and head of media at Moore Kingston Smith, commented: “We’re absolutely delighted to be partnering with the Alliance of Independent Agencies. As long-standing advocates for the industry we’re excited to build meaningful relationships with its members. We look forward to working with the agencies involved, understanding the challenges and opportunities they face, and supporting their ambitions and future growth.”
