As the spookiest weekend of the year approaches, dive into standout US work and insights to get you in the Halloween spirit

Costumes have been curated, pumpkins carved, and sweets purchased. It can only mean one thing: Halloween is here.

And with the spooky season fully upon us, we’ve compiled a Collection of the standout brand tricks (and treats) from across the globe.

Six Flags and TMA kicked-off the month with a terrifying invitation to ‘Come Out and Play’ at a participating Six Flag park this Halloween. Mekanism’s AI Superstudio found its spooky side for Custom Ink’s ‘Undead Acres’ campaign, featuring a decaying suburban town and some eerily familiar zombie characters.

Meanwhile, agencies from across the DAVID network have been embracing the season. DAVID New York and Huggies revealed that the real thing to fear this Halloween is… your baby’s blow out, DAVID Miami pulled off a 15-foot neon inflatable stunt for Mondelēz’s Sour Patch Kids, and DAVID São Paulo and Heinz swapped ketchup’s red ‘blood’ hue for jet-black ‘Mayo Halloween’ condiment.

To explore the sounds of the season, LBB’s Tess Connery-Britten asked the industry’s music and sound experts to share their favourite spooky scores, with the likes of ‘The Thing’, ‘The Texas Chain Saw Massacre’ and ‘The Omen’ praised for their “downright terrifying” takes on the genre.

To round it out, VML Enterprise Solutions’ global demand, content and thought leadership director Hugh Fletcher, and Liz Giuggio, Jack Morton US’ SVP, executive creative director, Genuine, shared some Halloween inspired thought leadership with advice on understanding the future of agentic AI driven commerce and fight the AI 'Slop-ocalypse'.
