WHAT IS IT ?
Every month a ‘Creative Council’ of world-class industry leaders whittles down hundreds of commercials, print ads, music videos, social campaigns and more into a digestible reel of creative excellence. That reel is then screened in iconic venues across cities including London, New York, Sydney, Melbourne and Berlin, with a simple but powerful format: world-class creative work, pizza, drinks and open conversation. Free to attend and consistently selling out in minutes, The Monthly Cut has established itself as both a litmus test for global creativity and a vital community hub for creatives to connect, share and be inspired.
The Monthly Cut Reel doesn’t just live on screen at the events. Each reel is released on the LBB platform worldwide, allowing creatives, marketers and industry crafts people everywhere to watch, download, share and be inspired, wherever they are.
HOW DO I ENTER ?
Each month, LBB’s editorial team will curate a shortlist of work that will then be distilled by the Creative Council by way of a scoring system.
That work must’ve launched in that calendar month - so The Monthly Cut released in April will feature work that launched or aired for the first between between 1st and 30th March and so on.
Any work that's part of a press release covered on Little Black Book will automatically be in consideration for inclusion on the reel. Members can also upload new work to their Creative Library and submit it for consideration via the TMC button or by e-mailing The Monthly Cut team with a link to the project on their LBB profile.
