SBB - Career Changer – Kevin

From musical performer to rail traffic controller. We are proud to present Kevin, a film from SBB’s career change campaign. With quiet emotional depth and a precise visual language, the film follows his transition into his new role as a rail traffic controller, capturing a personal moment of change within a wider human narrative.
Through an intensive and empathetic casting process, five SBB, Swiss Railways career changers opened up their private photo archives. The films focus on powerful images of personal transformation that ultimately led them to join SBB. Using advanced image-editing tools and AI, more than 600 photographs were carefully enhanced: image areas were extended for seamless match cuts, legal risks were minimised, and dynamic video snippets were generated. Each film features the same original music base, produced in one of five distinct stylistic directions and tailored precisely to the individual career changer.
Because life inevitably brings change, it sometimes calls for professional reinvention. That SBB, Swiss Railways is a company which genuinely offers space for such change is shown through the authentic life stories of five real SBB employees, highlighting the decisive turning points that led them to the company. The films were meticulously assembled from their personal photo collections. The message,“Because life sometimes needs change, we provide opportunities to change your careers.” is designed to encourage and inspire the target audience to take that courageous step themselves.
