De Beers launched Desert diamonds, a national campaign celebrating natural diamonds in shades inspired by desert light and landscape. These desert-hued gems embodied uniqueness, growth, and connection — much like love itself. Created in partnership with Arnold Worldwide, the campaign deepened the emotional significance of natural diamonds, positioning them as powerful symbols of self-expression and enduring relationships — romantic, familial, platonic, and personal. Through cinematic short films highlighting the desert’s sacred beauty and the personal stories each stone holds, Desert diamonds reimagined the palette of natural gems — from sunlit whites to champagne and amber hues — for a more intimate interpretation of “forever.”

The integrated campaign ran across broadcast, CTV, digital, social, OOH, print, and audio, debuting during major sports moments and high-profile takeovers in New York and Los Angeles, including a 3D billboard in Times Square. As De Beers’ first major “beacon” product launch in over a decade, Desert diamonds marked a new era in celebrating the rare authenticity and emotional resonance of natural diamonds.
