Sudeep Gohil has confirmed he is leaving consultancy KPMG after eight years with the Australian arm of the business.
For more than a year of his tenure, he has served as partner in charge -- brand and marketing. Before that, he held roles including chief marketing officer and head of brand strategy.
On LinkedIn, he wrote, "Thank you to the entire KPMG team that made my experience so brilliant. I will be enjoying the most of summer in Sydney for the next few months."
He will reveal his next move in 2026.
Before he joined the consultancy, Sudeep held senior agency roles around the world. He was managing partner and chief strategy officer at Publicis India, based in Mumbai; group strategy director at 72andSunny in Los Angeles; strategic planning director at Wieden+Kennedy in Portland; and a senior strategic planning at BBH in London and Japan. He was also a founding partner of the first iteration of Droga5 in Australia, setting up the strategy department and going on to lead the agency as CEO from 2012 to 2015, when it shuttered. It re-emerged in the market exactly a year ago, when fellow Accenture-owned agency The Monkeys rebadged to Droga5.
During that period, Sudeep was also chair of the Advertising Council, then known as the Communications Council.
He is also on the board of Food Ladder, a food solution business for schools and communities which describes itself as "led by teachers, empowered by AI."
