Moon Films Dominates Polish Awards Season with Double 'Production House of the Year' Wins

​Moon Films has cemented its status as a leader in the Polish advertising market, claiming the title of Production House of the Year at Poland’s two most prestigious industry festivals: the Crafty SPR Awards and the KTR Awards.

The production company’s dominant run culminated at the second edition of the Crafty SPR Awards (Association of Advertising Producers). Held at Mała Warszawa, the gala saw Moon Films take home the night's top accolade, Production House of the Year.

The company's success was largely propelled by the film ‘Efekt Black’ (Black Effect), produced by Moon Films for FoodCare. The spot was named Best Commercial Film of the year by the SPR jury.

‘Efekt Black’ proved to be a magnet for craft excellence, sweeping several key categories at the Crafty SPRs. Tadeusz Śliwa won Best Director for the project, while Dominik Panasiuk secured the award for Best Cinematography.

This victory follows Moon Films' earlier triumph in September at the KTR Awards 2025 (Advertising Creators Club), organized by the Marketing Communication Association SAR. During the gala at the Roma Theatre in Warsaw, Moon Films was also named Production House of the Year.

At the KTRs, which celebrate the best in Polish creativity, ‘Efekt Black’ was once again the standout performer, winning the prestigious Craft of the Year award. The project was recognized by a jury of over 100 experts who reviewed 1,450 entries across the competition.

The Crafty SPR Awards, organised by the Association of Advertising Producers, focus specifically on the makers behind the work. Unlike traditional festivals that often highlight brand strategy, the SPRs honour the "people who make the ads"—from producers to set designers.

Winners at the Crafty SPR gala received unique reliefs designed by artist Aga Pietrzykowska, symbolizing craftsmanship and artistry, rather than traditional statuettes.

While Moon Films secured the top production house honours at both festivals, the season highlighted other key players in the Polish market.

KTR Awards: DDB Warszawa was named Agency of the Year, with McDonald’s Polska taking Advertiser of the Year. Platige Image was recognized as Post-Production Studio of the Year.

Crafty SPR: Jasiek Ptak (Dynamo Films) was named Production Manager of the Year, and Beniamin Onaszkiewicz (Lucky Luciano Pictures) was named Producer of the Year.

For Moon Films, holding the title of Production House of the Year from both the creative (KTR) and production (SPR) bodies marks a rare and definitive consensus on their leadership in the Polish market for 2025.
