Agency, marketing, post, and production professionals gathered at WPP Sydney last night for September’s screening of The Monthly Cut.
VML group creative director Jack Delmonte and LBB APAC managing director Toby Hemming welcomed guests to WPP and introduced the reel, respectively, which featured the best work in the world from September. LBB’s creative council chose a selection of projects from brands including Gucci, Claude, John Lewis, and Depop.

The council was refreshed in July, and locally features Heckler's Will Alexander, Rick Barry's Alex Derwin, Special New Zealand's Lisa Fedyszyn, Westpac's Anna Jackson, DDB's Psembi Kinstan, Motion Sickness' Sam Stuchbury, and Dentsu's Brett Colliver judging alongside global creatives and LBB’s managing editors.
LBB’s Addison Capper (Americas managing editor), Alex Reeves (EMEA managing editor), Brittney Rigby (AUNZ managing editor) and Laura Swinton (editor-in-chief), CEO Matt Cooper, and head of creative excellence Paul Monan also sit on the council.

The Monthly Cut is a creative excellence initiative LBB and The Immortal Awards launched earlier this year. LBB has since hosted screenings of the world's best work across London, Bristol, Dublin, New York, Berlin, and Sydney. The reel is also made available to download for all LBB Standard and Premium members.
Next month, The Monthly Cut will travel to Melbourne for the first time, with the inaugural Victorian screening to take place at production company TRUCE. Tickets are free and available now.
The Monthly Cut has quickly become a must-attend fixture for marketing, creative, post and production professionals. As LBB founder and CEO Matt Cooper wrote upon its launch, it creates a year-round conversation about world-class creativity; provides an opportunity for people to gather and watch work; and allows marketers, agencies, and production companies alike to submit and test work with a world-class council.
