M+C Saatchi Group AUNZ national ECD Scott Dettrick has finished up in the role after 18 months, resigning from the agency in June and departing officially in late September.
The news follows the departure of M+C Saatchi AUNZ CCO Steve Coll this week. He is succeeded by Emma Robbins, who becomes AUNZ CCO three months after being promoted to Melbourne CCO.
Dani Bassil joined the agency as CEO in August, taking over from APAC boss Justin Graham, who had spent 12 years with the business, and Michael McEwan, now director of Droga5 Melbourne.
Before joining M+C, Scott was a founding creative at The Monkeys, and has led campaigns for brands including Meat & Livestock Australia, Amazon, Jim Beam, Telstra, Audi, and Qantas.
With design, art direction, music, writing, and film experience, Scott has been recognised at Cannes, D&AD, AWARD, LIA, Clio, Spikes Asia, and won Global Grand Effies.
He also serves on the Australian Advertising Council’s AWARD Council and was national co-head of AWARD School from 2023 to 2025, alongside Sharon Edmondston, where he helped shape incoming creative talent.
M+C Saatchi AUNZ did not comment on Scott’s departure.
