Independent creative agency cummins&partnersNYC has scooped a Best Use of Data prize at the Anthem Awards, the world’s largest social impact awards programme, presented by the Webby Awards.
The agency was awarded Silver for its ‘Break The Record’ campaign for Together for Girls, an organisation that works to safeguard young people. Created in partnership with Guinness World Records, the campaign launched ahead of the first Global Ministerial Conference on Ending Violence Against Children last November.
The Anthem Awards’ Best Use of Data category recognises the most innovative or effective use of data to raise awareness for human and civil rights, with cummins&partnersNYC’s entry one of more than 2,000 submissions from 42 countries.
At the heart of ‘Break The Record’ was a first-of-its-kind book, inspired byThe Guinness Book of World Records, visualising the global prevalence of childhood sexual violence.
This was amplified with a global advocacy campaign across OOH, social and digital display, as well as an experiential takeover at the ministerial conference itself. Spearheaded by designer Joel Orlandini and copywriter Pepa Cummins, the campaign supported efforts to secure pledges from over 100 countries to tackle childhood violence, and helped set a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title for the most countries ever represented at a childhood violence summit.

Louis Lunts, partner and managing director of cummins&partnersNYC said, “Opportunities like this are rare. A chance to create work that’s both bold and genuinely impactful. ‘Break The Record’ paired ground-breaking creative with powerful research to spotlight the global crisis of childhood sexual violence and influence the largest-ever summit on childhood violence. This recognition highlights the scale and urgency of that mission. This award belongs to our entire team and partners who poured everything into this campaign, and we couldn’t be prouder of the impact we’ve made together.”
Launched in 2021 by The Webby Awards, the Anthem Awards honour purpose-led work from organisations, companies and individuals worldwide. The 2025 winners were announced on 18 November and will be celebrated this evening with a drinks reception in New York City.
Patricia McLoughlin, Anthem Awards general manager, said, “While we continue to navigate social and political challenges and disruptions, the winners of the fifth annual Anthem Award are a reminder that when we are united in collective action, great change can happen and truly make an impact for the better.”
