

The Australian Influencer Marketing Council (AiMCO) today announced the launch of its inaugural People’s Choice Award, the first-ever opportunity for people to vote for their favourite creator.
Voting for the award, which is part of the prestigious 2025 AiMCO Awards, is now open, with people encouraged to cast their vote before the January 31 deadline.
Any creators shortlisted for the 2025 AiMCO Awards can take out the People’s Choice Award.

The winner of the People’s Choice Award will be announced at the 2025 AiMCO Awards’ ceremony in February next year.
More than 100 creators, brands and agency talent were recently announced on the shortlist for the AiMCO Awards, which this year attracted a record number of entries.
The awards recognise the best and brightest in the nation’s influencer marketing sector across a range of categories, including new awards for long-term ambassador/partnership, creator-led brand/business, best unsung hero, stand-alone influencer campaign and marketing team of the year.
Commenting on the launch of the People’s Choice Award, AiMCO managing director, Patrick Whitnall, said, “The People’s Choice Award is an important new category for our 2025 awards, recognising the desire to directly support and celebrate our favourite creators.
"This award is an opportunity for everyone to get behind the creator community -- it’s our way of amplifying the voices of our creators’ many fans, collaborators, and supporters, giving them a chance to publicly acknowledge the work and achievements of their favourite influencers.”
