West One Music Group Appoints George Hyde in Pivotal Executive Role

​West One Music Group has appointed George Hyde as global head of legal and business affairs, royalties and copyright. George will report to COO Maria Scott and join the company’s executive team.

The newly created role reflects West One Music’s focus on building simple, scalable and commercially robust systems for artists and partners as the business continues to expand globally.

​George will lead global strategy across rights, licensing, and administration, supporting the company’s activities while strengthening collective management frameworks.

With many years of industry experience and having run his own business affairs consultancy, George brings profound expertise to the role. He will work closely with West One Music’s teams, continuing to champion a culture of ownership, collaboration, and innovation across the company.
