

Studio RM has welcomed Vlad Barin as senior colourist, based in London. Vlad joins from Harbor, bringing with him a refined visual sensibility and an exceptional portfolio spanning commercials, music videos, short films and features.
Vlad will work alongside senior colourist Jack McGinity and colourist Jules Wileman, further strengthening Studio RM’s award-winning colour department.
He joins at an exciting time of growth for the studio, following the recent appointment of executive producer Mike Coley, who also joined Studio RM from Harbor. Together, they’ll be continuing to bring Studio RM’s unique vision on visual storytelling to clients at the forefront of creativity and culture.
Vlad will be based between London and New York, and will collaborate closely with teams and clients across all of Studio RM’s global locations, including the newly opened Paris studio, embodying the company’s ethos of seamless creative collaboration across its international network.
Vlad has collaborated with directors including Tyler Mitchell, Martin Werner and Femi 'Ladi' Oladigbolu, and graded campaigns for Gucci, Grey Goose, Orange, COS, Ferrari and Byredo,alongside music videos and films recognised at Camerimage, SXSW, and the BFI London Film Festival. Vlad brings a strong artistic identity grounded in both analogue and digital practices. His tactile approach to colour - shaped by a background in photography and darkroom processes - adds depth and texture to his storytelling.
