Creative agency VCCP welcomes Alex Little as executive creative director, Julia Morrissey as managing partner and head of account management, and Marianne Bellorín as group strategy director, marking a new chapter of growth in the US

Creative agency VCCP have made three new additions to their US leadership team. Julia Morrisey has been appointed as managing partner, head of account management, Alex Little as executive creative director, and Marianne Bellorín as group strategy director.

Together Alex, Julia and Marianne will be the key leads running point across creative, strategy and account management on essential accounts as VCCP continues its strong growth trajectory in the US.

Matt MacDonald, US chief creative officer, VCCP said, “It’s been really great forging a new era at VCCP in the US. Myself along with Brett Edgar and Jonny Shaw are thrilled Alex, Julia and Marianne are joining to not only help push the agency’s work, but really truly lead on what is already shaping up to be one of our most exciting years ahead. Alex is a brilliant creative leader with a history of making ground breaking work in the connectivity space. Julia is an absolute pro with an incredible reputation from both clients and agency folks. And Marianne has been one of VCCP’s rising stars—we are so lucky to have her back here in New York. The three of them complement each other incredibly well, both as people and leaders.”

Alex joins VCCP from Tall Poppy, the creative company he co-founded in 2023, and brings a reputation for breakthrough work in the telco space. At Translation, he led category-redefining work for WhatsApp, AT&T, and the New York Knicks, with projects including the AT&T 5G Connected Helmet and WhatsApp’s first global platform. At McCann, he helped propel the agency to #2 Global Agency of the Year with standout work for Verizon and a Grand Prix-winning project for March For Our Lives—earning a spot among AdAge’s top US Creative Directors. At VCCP, Alex is the only executive creative director in the US, working closely with Chief Creative Officer Matt MacDonald.

Alex Little, executive creative director, VCCP said, “VCCP is a bit of a unicorn — a mix of qualities that rarely come together. A tight-knit crew with the muscle of a global network. Leaders with intimidating résumés but zero ego. Big, global brands alongside bold little upstarts. I’ve jumped in to help relaunch an iconic brand, drawing on the experience of starting my own agency to make an impact across every part of VCCP. That’s the attitude here — roll up your sleeves and get it done. I liked it immediately. Exciting things ahead. Watch this space/mythological horse.”

Julia joins from Arnold Worldwide where she most recently served as SVP, group account director overseeing a complex portfolio of business across Sanofi and Regeneron. Prior to Arnold, Julia spent time at Pereira O’Dell and J. Walter Thompson, managing a diverse group of brands from Yellow Tail to Memorial Sloan Kettering to Rolex, and many more. As head of account management Julia will report to US CEO Brett Edgar, overseeing key client accounts as well as the account management team in the US.

Julia Morrissey, managing partner, head of account management, VCCP, said, “The agency’s ethos and challenger spirit resonated with me immediately. I had been hearing many great things about VCCP for quite some time, especially how wonderful the people are. My excitement is palpable to finally be on the ground working with this incredibly talented team.”

Marianne joined VCCP as the fourth hire in the NY office, rising from junior strategist to leading global work out of London for brands like White Claw and Google. She returns after a stint in the UK, bringing with her extensive B2C and B2B experience along with honed expertise in brand innovation, product development, and communication planning. Prior to VCCP, Marianne spent time at co:collective and Glue Factory.

Marianne Bellorin, group strategy director, VCCP said, “Right team, right time. Brett, Jonny, and Matt are on a mission. I have never pitched with a tighter team in my life. And after a mega win, how could I say no to moving back? There's momentum here, and bringing in Julia and Alex into VCCP will only take us to the US to the next level. We’re all in.”

These three new appointments mark an exciting time for the creative agency that has seen significant growth and momentum this year. The agency has recently added news clients to its AOR roster including Spectrum, Primark, and Flodesk. VCCP has also rounded out its executive leadership team this past year. At the end of 2024 Matt MacDonald joined from BBDO as US chief creative officer, and most recently Robert Valdes joined as chief production officer of Girl&Bear, VCCP's global content studio.
