Triptych of Terror Takes on Type 1 Myths in 'Vegetables Have Sugar' Films

Serving as both films you can answer questions about the condition with and teasers for the upcoming short film 'Vegetables Have Sugar', the triptych is an unsettling informational piece wrapped in heavy metal infused suspense.

Written and directed by LIAKH, produced by Spindle in collaboration with Furlined, they feature Declan Mason ('Black Mirror') as a man who must answer questions about his condition like his life depends on it. These include such all time favourites as 'is this a vape?', 'what will happen if I inject myself with insulin?' and 'does it mess with your sex life?' – questions far too familiar for anyone with type 1 diabetes.

LIAKH said, “If you, like me, are tired of answering the same particular set of questions over and over again, feel free to send one of those films next time you are asked them. It’s also quite nice to take a film that will spend a certain amount of time on the festival circuit and utilize its parts for something useful and/or entertaining. Go easy on the mince pies this holiday season, will ya?”
