Matty Burton, Pia Chaudhuri, Brent Smart Among Jurors as The Immortal Awards 2025 Heads to Sydney
Having completed the Americas leg of judging, The Immortal Awards has landed in Sydney and will turn its attention to the AUNZ jury day tomorrow, Wednesday, November 26th.
Held in partnership with ARC, Bear Meets Eagle on Fire and Sedona, the penultimate regional session of the year will determine the next set of Finalists that will progress to the final, global round of judging in December.
The jury consists of standout creatives and leaders from both Australia and New Zealand, across the brand, agency, production and post worlds. It’s their job to decide which projects, if any, will be crowned the best of AUNZ advertising.
The projects will join the crowned European, North American, LATAM and Asia Finalists in that prize-giving round and compete for an Immortal Award or Commendation.
This year’s AUNZ jury includes:

- Matty Burton, group chief creative officer, DDB AUNZ
- Pia Chaudhuri, creative consultant (formerly global senior creative leader, LEGO)
- Erin Moy, founding partner, Entropico
- Emma Robbins, national chief creative officer, M&C Saatchi
- Brent Smart, chief marketing officer, Telstra
- Pip Smart, executive producer and partner, Revolver
- Micah Walker, founder and chief creative officer, Bear Meets Eagle on Fire
- Kim Wildenburg, founder and executive producer, Sedona
The jury session will be followed by an after-party hosted by ARC, featuring a screening of the work chosen to progress to the global jury.
Paul Monan, head of creative excellence at Little Black Book, said, “This is our final in-person session before we head to New York for the final, global round of judging. It’s been a brilliant two months of judging so far, and ending our in-person regional days in Sydney with the AUNZ session is really exciting.

Having already visited Berlin, London, Dublin, Dubai, Toronto and New York, Little Black Book’s global advertising award will host its final session online with the Asian jury session before the final, global round of judging.
The competition’s six regions -- Europe, MEA, North America, LATAM, AUNZ and Asia – each have their own jury days, selecting regional Finalists that will compete in the global round of judging.
At the global round of judging, held in partnership with JSM Music in New York on December 3rd, the jury will decide which projects this year will pick up a Commendation or receive the ultimate prize -- an Immortal Award.
