TRAFIK has promoted Benji Davidson to creative director. In his new position, Benji will further expand the studio’s VFX and finishing offering, developing relationships with filmmakers, supervising shoots and creatively overseeing projects from conception to delivery.
Benji has consistently pushed the creative boundaries of visual storytelling. Developing creative solutions while incorporating the latest technology has been his trademark, endearing him to filmmakers, brands and agencies.
"Benji has been an integral creative leader for our studio since we opened three years ago," said managing partner, Robert Owens. “His ability to develop innovative ways of working has allowed the studio to expand into more complex work while keeping a nimble, personalised model.”
Under Benji’s creative guidance, TRAFIK is embracing a new generation of AI-driven tools, augmenting the studio’s agility while maintaining its signature level of artistry. These tools allow the team to enhance workflows, refine iterations faster, and meet ambitious creative visions on accelerated timelines. However, while technology informs the process, it’s TRAFIK's people who remain its greatest asset.
"Our strength has always been our team," said Benji. "We’re a tightly knit group of artists who have worked together for many years and thrive under pressure. We care deeply about each other, the work we produce and our clients. The tools are evolving, but creativity, agility, and the client experience remain our priority.”
