Stink Studios has hired Don’t Panic’s creative partner, Rick Dodds, as executive creative director to work alongside long-serving ECD Cameron Temple, and promoted Kat Thomas to creative director.

The creative studio, who have made work for the likes of Vinted and Canva this year, are doubling down on their creative credentials. Having had a good 2025, with notable wins such as LOEWE, Hoka, Manors and Airalo, the independently owned studio is planning for growth in 2026.

“Stink Studios has evolved a few times in my 13 years here” said Jax Ostle-Evans, MD “and this next chapter is all about investing in original thinking and our ability to bring truly impossible to ignore creative ideas to our clients”

Rick Dodds, who has won two British Arrow Grand Prix’s and over 20 Cannes Lions, for work such as T-Mobile Dance and T-Mobile Welcome Back, joins from independently owned Don’t Panic.

“As many contributing factors change the shape of our industry, Stink Studios heritage of combining cutting edge tech and razor sharp creative thinking, makes the studio uniquely placed to flourish in the coming landscape. There’s an incredible hunger to make famous work here which runs right through the studio. Every person I talked to embodied this enthusiasm for bold thinking. On top of that, they are a truly lovely group of human beings, which made the opportunity of joining them impossible to turn down,” said Rick Dodds, ECD.

Cameron Temple, says “As we build for the future, our focus on strategic thinking, cultural relevance, disruptive creativity, and unparalleled craft is sharpening. Rick brings an amazing history of storytelling and brand-building expertise that perfectly complements our ambition.”

Rick was at Don’t Panic for 7 years, producing work that won many awards including a yellow D&AD pencil, multiple British Arrows and several Creative Circle Golds. His work often cut through into consumer press, such as ‘Wind in the Willows’ for the Wildlife Trusts, Oxfam ‘Stay in the Fight’ and the numerous Shelter Christmas campaigns - including this year's ‘Earworm’ directed by Michael Gracy. Previous to Don’t Panic, he was ECD at Droga5 London for two years, CD at Droga5 NYC for 5 years and a creative at Saatchi & Saatchi for 7 years.

Stink Studios has also promoted Kat Thomas from the role of creative lead to creative director. Kat has been with Stink for three and a half years, producing work for Google, NOW and Canva. Prior to Stink, Kat worked at JWT, in both London and Australia for the best part of a decade, producing work for HSBC, Kellogg’s, Subway and Debenhams.

Kat said, “Making famous work that reaches beyond adland is what every creative gets into the industry for, so I’m super excited for the next chapter and making more of the stuff that everyone and their nan is talking about”
