Publicis Conseil and director Rupert Sanders reintroduce Clio as a symbol of renewal in the brand’s latest cinematic campaign

Renault and Publicis Conseil have launched the Renault CLIO full hybrid E-Tech with an epic film that reimagines a Greek myth in a contemporary setting. Directed by Rupert Sanders, the two-minute piece follows Clio, the muse of history, as she navigates a world that feels stuck in place and overdue for change.

Driven by a deep need for renewal, Clio begins to imagine something that could bring back energy and momentum. Her answer takes shape in the form of the new Renault Clio full hybrid E-Tech.

The story unfolds across a series of stylised scenes that blend ancient and modern imagery, all tied together by a powerful, confident, deep voiceover. New Order’s “Crystal” provides the soundtrack, structuring the film’s rising tension.
