Pinnacle Advertising has welcomed two significant additions to its executive leadership team as the agency continues its strong momentum and prepares for its next phase of growth. Jules Boasberg has joined as chief growth officer, and Jon Berna has been appointed chief technology and data officer.
Jules Boasberg named chief growth officer
Following a year-long national search, Pinnacle Advertising selected Jules for his deep experience in agency growth, new business development, and strategic leadership.
“We knew we needed someone exceptional, someone with the strategic mindset, experience, and cultural alignment to guide Pinnacle into its next chapter,” said Michael Magnusson, CEO of Pinnacle Advertising. “With Jules, we found exactly that. His track record of building businesses, developing strong relationships, and leading with clarity speaks for itself. We are thrilled to welcome him to the team.”
Jules joins Pinnacle after being referred by a respected agency consulting firm that has partnered with him for years. Known for his ability to architect growth strategies and cultivate high-performing teams, Jules will oversee Pinnacle’s business development efforts across markets. Though based in Kansas City, he will spend meaningful time at Pinnacle’s Chicago headquarters collaborating with teams and driving new opportunities.
“Pinnacle is an agency with incredible talent, ambition, and momentum,” said Jules. “From my first conversations with Michael and the leadership team, it was clear this was a place where I could help shape something meaningful. I’m excited to build on the agency’s strong foundation and drive growth that matches the scale of our capabilities.”
Jon Berna joins as chief technology and data officer
Pinnacle has also named long time partner and collaborator Jon Berna as chief technology and data officer. Jon is well known within the organisation, having worked with Pinnacle first as a client during his tenure leading several dealership groups, and later as the founder of a data and analytics company that partnered closely with the agency. After successfully selling his company, Jon continued to work with Pinnacle as a consultant, playing a central role in developing the agency’s advanced technology platform.
“Jon has been part of the Pinnacle story for years, and bringing him into the organization in a full-time executive role is a significant milestone,” said Michael. “His expertise in leveraging data to drive lifetime customer value, through both retention and acquisition, is unmatched. Jon will be instrumental in pushing our technology and analytics capabilities even further.”
In his new role, Jon will spearhead the agency’s data, analytics, and technology strategy, driving innovation and expanding Pinnacle’s ability to deliver measurable business outcomes for clients.
