Octopus Inc Welcomes Director Cam Heyes

​Octopus Inc has signed director and creative innovator Cam Heyes, whose work bridges the gap between traditional filmmaking craft and the possibilities of AI.

Cam joins the roster as both a director and AI consultant, bringing a unique approach that sees artificial intelligence not as a gimmick, but as a tool to enhance and expand the language of film. With a background spanning design, VFX, motion, and screenwriting, Cam has built a career defined by curiosity, experimentation, and an obsession with storytelling integrity.

From music videos for artists such as Kamille, David Guetta and ADMT, to passion projects that reimagine icons like Taylor Swift and Kylie Minogue. Cam’s work resists being pigeonholed as “AI art.” Instead, he stands for a new generation of directors, ones who understand that the technology only works when paired with filmmaking experience, strong ideas, and respect for craft.
