

Modern Post, the bi-coastal creative post-production studio, is celebrating a major win at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards. Founding editor William Town took home the Best Editing award for his work on Tate McRae’s hit video 'Just Keep Watching', which also earned the VMA for Song of the Summer.
Renowned for blending stylised visuals with rhythmic patterns and sound, William has become one of the most sought-after editors in music and fashion. His career spans iconic music videos for artists including M.I.A., Miley Cyrus, Tate McRae, Billie Eilish, A$AP Rocky, Doja Cat and Charli XCX - whose 'Von Dutch' earned a Grammy nomination. He also edited Mugler’s award-winning 'Alien Hypersense', further cementing his reputation for pushing creative boundaries. Most recently, he edited the lead single ‘Jealous Type’ from Doja Cat’s upcoming album ‘Vie’.
Beyond music, William’s expertise extends into the commercial and fashion worlds, with celebrated work for Vogue, Calvin Klein, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Ralph Lauren, Giorgio Armani, Equinox, and Zara.
William began his career at the photo and production agency Art Partner, in their Paris office before joining Baron & Baron in New York, where he rose to lead the agency’s in-house film department. In 2014, he founded Modern Post, growing the studio into a full-service creative powerhouse known for its distinctive roster of editors, colourists, and producers.
