McCann Riga has been recognised as the Best Creative Agency in the Baltics this year. The title is awarded based on cumulative results across the most important international advertising and communications festivals, where agencies are evaluated for creative excellence, strategic thinking, and the real-world impact of their campaigns.
The ranking is compiled based on agency performance at festivals such as Cannes Lions, Effie Awards, EPICA, Clio Awards, Eurobest, Golden Drum, KIAF Awards, D&AD, ADCE Awards, The One Show, as well as other industry competitions. This system is considered one of the most objective indicators of quality in the Baltic region.
McCann Riga achieved its high position in the ranking thanks to bold, creative and – perhaps more importantly – very effective campaigns. Key award-winning projects include:
The SSE Riga’s alumni fundraising campaign 'The SSE500' received international recognition, winning a Gold Effie Europe for strategic effectiveness at a European level. Meanwhile, the projects for The State Blood Donor Centre, The Pink Train Foundation, and Getliņi Eko demonstrated that advertising can be a powerful tool for social change, combining creativity with a responsibility toward society.
“We see that Baltic states are at their creative peak,” said Valters Jonāts, chief creative officer at McCann Riga. “Being named the Best Agency in the region has always been a major achievement, but to receive this recognition now proves that we in McCann Riga are on the right track and there is not a single reason for us to slow down.”
McCann Riga has been named Latvia’s Agency of the Year at the Adwards festival for eight consecutive years and was also recognised as the Best Agency in Latvia at the Baltic PR festival Miit&Links.
