Macy’s Invites You Home for Holidays in Festive Film

Macy’s has launched its new holiday campaign, celebrating the festive spirit, family traditions, and the unmistakable magic of Thanksgiving and Christmas. Directed by JOJX’s Madeline Clayton through MONO, the film invites audiences to embrace joy this season, from finding the perfect gift, dressing for a party, or preparing a table to welcome loved ones home.

Rooted in relatable, real-life moments, the campaign brings the textures, sounds, and emotions that define the holidays to life, creating an atmosphere that feels intimate and inspiring. From the rustle of wrapping paper to the clink of glasses and soft glow of candlelight, every detail reflects the shared nostalgia and excitement that makes Christmas so special.

“Macy’s Holiday campaign was an exercise in evoking nostalgia, from the Thanksgiving parade to the anticipation of hosting Christmas dinner with chosen family,” said JOJX director Madeline. “I wanted these spots to have a feeling of remembering. It’s an impressionable time of year and these films strive to ignite joy, togetherness and connection. A reminder for why this time of year can be really special for people.”
