

LePub Singapore’s Stephan Schwarz, executive creative director, has been awarded Southeast Asia Creative Leader of the Year at Campaign Asia-Pacific’s 2025 Agency of the Year Awards – a recognition that celebrates his role in helping to shape culturally resonant work across the region.
Since stepping into the role of executive creative director in September 2024, Stephan has spearheaded some of LePub Singapore’s most talked-about campaigns, including ‘Trust Bars’, ‘Smootheriser’, and most recently, ‘Rooftop Revival’ for Heineken. Together with Penny Sadlier, managing director at LePub Singapore, his mission is to elevate Singapore’s reputation as a hub for innovation and cultural relevance by creating work that blends data, creativity, and technology to help brands live in culture.
“This recognition belongs to Singapore and the entire Southeast Asia region, which took a chance on someone who pivoted into creative advertising at the age of 38. Southeast Asia has provided me with the canvas to explore what creative leadership could mean by exposing me to cultures and perspectives I would have never encountered elsewhere. To the many people whose shoulders I stand on, this is ours to share," he says.
Prior to joining LePub Singapore, Stephan was part of the team behind Singapore’s first-ever Cannes Lions Grand Prix for a campaign that has continued to dominate global award shows over the past year.
