Families across the UK can now join Joe Wicks for a brand-new way to get moving, as his animated fitness series ‘Activate’ lands on CBeebies and BBC iPlayer.
The five-minute episodes, produced by BAFTA-winning Studio AKA, see Joe transformed into an animated character for the very first time. Alongside six colourful companions — the Activators — he leads children through playful workouts designed to boost energy, confidence and wellbeing. From squats to star jumps, each routine is quick, accessible and easy to fit into busy family life.

The move marks a major new platform for ‘Activate’, which launched earlier this year with support from the UK Government’s Plan for Change — a national strategy to help children live healthier, more active lives. With music from popular British artists, including Becky Hill and Bastille, every episode doubles as a high-energy fitness session and a mini dance party.
‘Activate’ episodes are now available daily on CBeebies and on demand via BBC iPlayer, with further instalments set to roll out throughout the year — including content designed for classrooms. The series is also streaming on Joe’s Body Coach YouTube channel, giving children plenty of opportunities to join in wherever they are.
